Florence Pugh has revealed the real reason why she chose not to address the Dont Worry Darling furore back in 2022.
The actress played Harry Styles on screen wife Alice Chambers in the psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde.
However, throughout the promotion period for the film speculation swirled about what exactly went down on the films set as the project became encompassed with rumours of feuds and fall outs.
There was talk of a feud between Olivia and Florence, rumours of pay disputes, and even allegations that Olivias romance with singer Harry Styles made crew members uncomfortable.
Yet Florence never personally addressed the drama, explaining during her October cover shoot with Vogue that she doesnt like to speak on issues that will detract from the film itself.

So Im going to politely move away from that.
There were also claims at the time that Shia LaBeouf was fired from the production, which the actor has adamantly denied. He was originally cast to play the character of Jack, but was replaced by Harry.
According to Variety, emails Shia had sent to Olivia showed that the Transformers actor had written, You and I both know the reasons for my exit. I quit your film because your actors and I couldnt find time to rehearse.
On the other hand, Olivia claimed to the publication that he was fired, adding, His process was not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions.
Sources also informed Vulture that all was far from paradise during production between Florence and Olivia.
According to an unnamed insider on the movie, the pair came to blows over Olivias frequent, unexplained absences, on set which resulted in a screaming match between the two women.
Olivia and Harry would just disappear, an insider added to the publication.

The apparent feud came to light when Olivia referred to Florence as Miss Flo and said she needed a wake-up call during the rehearsal period of the movie, in a video to actor Shia LaBeouf that was leaked.
The report even claims that the spat between the pair got so bad, it was taken to the to the highest-ranking Warner Bros. executive at the time – Toby Emmerich – who had to play peacemaker.
While Florence chose to remain silent on the issue, she also chooses to keep her personal life to herself as she also gave a rare insight into a former relationship with Zach Braff.
The star dated the former Scrubs star, 49, from 2019 until their split in 2022.
She told Vogue: I had to be public in the past because people were bullying me and bullying my partner.
Prior to Finn, Florence was previously in a relationship with former Scrubs star Zach Braff, 49, from 2019 until their split in 2022 (pictured in 2023 for A Good Person premiere)
Mine and Zachs relationship was actually quite private until it was nasty, and I could see the toll that it was taking on him and us and our families. And thats when I spoke out.
I think for anyone Im with, I want to protect them. Its not nice knowing that people are saying the worst things Ive ever read about someone that I love.
So that was necessary. I needed to talk about it. I think any relationship in this limelight is going to be stressed.
